Drawing from his experience practicing in both high-volume U.S. systems and Australia’s more balanced model, he explains how excessive documentation and EHRs disrupted the patient–physician relationship. Dr. Balaram shares how ambient AI tools help offload cognitive burden, allowing physicians to be fully present while maintaining clinical precision.
