Quality Assurance Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and quality of our web and mobile experiences. This is a manual testing role that requires strong product intuition and a sharp eye foredge cases, regressions, and user-impacting bugs. You’ll work closely with our engineering, product, and clinical teams to validate features and AI-generated outputs that directly impact patient care.

As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and quality of our web and mobile experiences. This is a manual testing role that requires strong product intuition and a sharp eye foredge cases, regressions, and user-impacting bugs. You’ll work closely with our engineering, product, and clinical teams to validate features and AI-generated outputs that directly impact patient care.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Feature Validation & Testing:

·        Perform manual exploratory testing of new and existing features across both web and mobile platforms

·        Validate integrations between the iScribeHealth platform and various Electronic Health Records (EHRs)

·        Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive test cases based on feature requirements and product specs

Bug Management:

·        Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking systems such as Linear or Jira

·        Collaborate with engineers and product managers to resolve bugs throughout the development lifecycle

AI & Clinical Quality:

·        Validate AI-generated medical content such as scribe notes or CPT codes for accuracy and clinical relevance

·        Monitor for regressions and support hotfix testing to ensure continuous improvement

Product Feedback & Usability:

·        Provide detailed testing feedback to enhance usability and overall user experience

·        Advocate for the end user by identifying potential workflow issues or edge cases

 

Qualifications:

·        2+ years of experience in manual QA or software testing roles

·        Strong understanding of QA methodologies, bug lifecycle, and test documentation

·        Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to testing

·        Ability to learn new systems quickly and identify edge cases

·        Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

Preferred Skills:

·        Experience in healthcare, Healthtech, or regulated industries

·        Familiarity with tools like TestRail, Jira, or similar platforms

·        Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and comfort testing AI-driven features

·        Knowledge of HIPAA and data privacy/compliance standards
