As the Lead DevOps Engineer you will design, manage, and optimize a secure, scalable, and observable cloud infrastructure on Azure. This role is both hands-on and strategic—ideal for someone excited to shape deployment architecture, improve reliability, and ensure compliance in a fast-paced healthcare technology environment.
• Infrastructure Leadership:
Design and evolve the cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, high availability, and security using Azure services (App Services, AKS, SQL, Blob Storage, Front Door, etc.).
• Automation & Deployment:
Own and maintain the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps to enable continuous integration and deployment across web and mobile platforms.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Manage infrastructure as code to ensure repeatable, version-controlled, and testable deployments.
• Monitoring & Observability:
Set up and maintain system observability through Application Insights, Azure Monitor, Sentry, and Grafana. Lead SEV 1–3 incident response efforts, including root cause analysis and postmortems.
• Platform Stability:
Maintain system uptime, define reliability SLAs, and deliver system uptime metrics and reports to stakeholders.

• System Maintenance:
Manage ongoing platform and infrastructure updates, ensuring minimal disruption to development and production environments.
• Cross-Department Communication:
Facilitate regular infrastructure and deployment status reporting across engineering, product, support, and leadership teams.
• Performance Optimization:
Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Mentorship & Leadership:
Coach and mentor DevOps engineers, lead team strategy, and contribute to team growth and knowledge-sharing.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering, preferably with Azure.
• Strong knowledge of high-availability, production-grade systems.

At iScribeHealth, we assign specific attributes and characteristics to each role. This helps us identify candidates whose natural strengths align with the demands of the position—contributing to both job satisfaction and long-term success. Our goal is to ensure that employees feel confident and fulfilled in their roles, rather than feeling like they have to stretch themselves unnaturally every day to meet expectations. The survey includes only two questions and typically takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
For the second question, “Describe How You Should Behave at Work,” please answer based on your behavior in your current or most recent role—not the role you’re applying for.
